Enough for Two
Words and music by Kieran Barry Violet
Don’t bring me trouble baby
I got trouble too
Don’t phone me
To tell me you’re lonely
Since we’ve been through
Don’t cry on my shoulder
Find someone new
No don’t bring me trouble baby
I got enough for two
Some people they say maybe
I’ll be happy free
I guess they know
A whole lot more about
These things than me
I’m coping cos I’ve been hoping
What they say is true
So don’t bring me trouble baby
I got enough for two
Your friends say
It was all my fault
I wasn’t good enough for you
And just because they’re on your side
Doesn’t mean it isn’t true
You were the fool
Who left the room
When the cracks
Began to show
Trust me this time
I should know
I was the fool
Who let you go

No need to expand on the story-line surely? As for the writing all I can say is it came together bit by bit over a period of about two years. That may have something to do with all the changes, ‘Enough for Two’? There are enough chords in it for three or four songs . . .
